Pink Floyd

This editorial zine explores the political themes within Pink Floyd’s most influential albums. Moving chronologically through key records, the publication examines how the band addressed issues such as mental health, classism, consumerism, war, and institutional control during periods of political tension.

The project combines music history with social commentary, positioning album artwork and lyrics as tools for cultural critique rather than just entertainment. Through layout, sequencing, and tone, the zine highlights how design can frame music as a reflection of power, resistance, and societal norms.

Margate

Margate is a visually led publication documenting a walking journey through the town  . The project captures overlooked details, textures, signage, architecture, and public space, presenting Margate through observation rather than narration.

Using photography, cropping, colour manipulation, and sequencing, the booklet explores atmosphere and place. Brutalist buildings, street graphics, fences, and found text are reframed as graphic compositions, turning a simple walk into a study of structure, contrast, and urban character.
